The stage was set. The music on. Mic-Check. All was perfect for the most amazing concert ever in CGI history. With his wide array of songs Boruch Shalom dazzled the campers and staff from the new songs to the old ones, from the classics to the camp songs. All was just on point, but lets not forget about the amazing Fitche Benshimon who from his place behind the keyboard ensured a most amazing night.
What a day!! What started with an innocent bowling quickly metamorphosed into the most amazing overnight ever. From the BBQ to the bonfire, the songs, and camaraderie. This was a most amazing night.
A historical drama based on the life of Alexander Yanai, the third Chashmonai king.
His life was a series of tumultuous battles, both abroad, expanding the borders of Eretz Yisroel, and at home, where a bitter civil war was fought between the Tzedokim and the Peroshim – the Chachamim who stood up for authentic Torah Yiddishkeit, and who were persecuted for their courage and beliefs. Brought to life by the staff of Gan Yisroel, experience this trying time in our history, it’s troubles, politics, and ultimately, it’s redemption.

This past Thursday the campers gathered together in Paris fields to watch the staff play. The play entitled Yanai was an adaption of the story of the last Hasmonean king. The campers watched every scene with fascination as we followed our way through his kingship. From the planning to the play this was an all around amazing performance!! Kudos to our amazing staff!!
