Camp Gan Israel

This week in CGI we had 2 amazing shows. First, we had an awesome Talent Show where campers and staff showed off their many talents and skills. For example, juggling, beatboxing, rapping, Rubik’s Cube speed running and more. The staff even made choir, where they sang and danced in unison. Then we had a grand Contortionist Show by Jared Rydelek.

This week at CGI we had a bunch of awesome late-night events for all the different Grades.  From ice cream & brownies, to grilled meat subs. There were sodas & fancy drinks to go around, plus many other delicious snacks to enjoy as well. There were raffles on prizes and music in the air. What a great way to end off a great week!

“Cleanup, Cleanup, Everybody Do Your Share, Cleanup, Cleanup, Get Ready Because Visiting Day is Here!” This morning we woke up bright and early davened & started cleaning up. We all made sure to look our best in order to impress our parents. 11 AM hit & parents came rushing in, campers & their siblings were having fun all around. Canteen was going wild with milchige dishes in the AM & fleishige dishes off the grill in the PM. Some families stayed to have fun on the grounds, while others went to nearby bungalow colonies or towns to spend their day. At the end of the day parents said goodbye to their sons & the campers sat down for supper. After that we enjoyed some night activity & headed off to bed. We have a very big week prepared for us, so make sure to be on the lookout for new posts.

Tonight, the Famous Mr. Hypno came to perform at Camp Gan Yisroel. He entertained CGI with his amazing hypno-abilities. He put campers & staff under trances & made them do wild antics, such as dancing, fishing, play instruments & more.
