Today was another action packed day in CGI. Four special learning classes were able to have another round of the exciting but tricky Klooger game show., Aside from the traditional sports a few bunks also played the new for 5773 ‘Dodge tag’ game, Finally many campers took time out of their lunch break to participate in a Chitas shiur and received freeze pops for their efforts. An exclusive group of BMD bochurim were treated to a Pizza party today for successfully completing the latest round of iChossid. Bochurim who excel each week in Hachona L’Tfilah, Chitas & Rambam are eligible for the Pizza. Pictures in the full article.

We are now in the third week of the Gan Yisroel Elite Campaign. This week’s theme is Moshiach. There are two aspects to this theme; one is the longing for Moshiach, anticipating what Moshiach will bring and working to bring Moshiach now. The second aspect is the demanding for the coming of Moshiach Now! The week began with a rally including a video of the Rebbe and a short fabrengen by Rabbi Baras informing the campers of these fundamentals and how to go about achieving them.
Included in CGI’s Sports Leagues program are weekly awards for two of the ‘most valued players’ and two campers who display the best sportsmanship. For the week of Matos-Masei, Elimelech Shpalter and Effy Bleich were awarded the MVP award, Mendy Rappaport and Eli Hecht were awarded the best sportsmanship award.
