In preparation for Topsy Turvy day campers went around this morning collecting endorsements for their desired camp job position. To run for a position each camper needed to collect 100 signatures, 50 from Campers and 50 from Staff. In the evening there was a panel who evaluated each of the successful applicant’s ‘sales pitch’ to decide who would win the esteemed positions. Enjoy the pictures of the lead up of this exciting day and stay tuned for pictures of the actual day.

In honor of Dovid Holtzberg’s birthday, the entire Bunk Ches was treated to a special birthday pizza party at Liberty Pizza followed by delicious ice cream back at camp.

Parents often wonder how their son is performing in the awesome BMD Sports . The good news is that, that question is no longer valid with the new and improved daily sport statistics brought to you by Sports Directors: Dudi Slapochnik & Levi Rosenfeld. Using the latest technology each league game is carefully monitored and recorded with all the plays carefully documented. At the end of each day all the statistics are carefully typed up and printed for the sports board in the BMD Dining Room.

Last week the oldest division completed phase one of a very special activity with each camper handcrafting their own screen printed t-shirt. Today the oldest division completed phase two of this activity. The activity began with the division hiking up to the ‘new grounds’ where they were split up into groups divided into different colors. The rules of the game were explained, with the main point being that at a predetermined time the signal would be given and each team would race into the center of the field, with the objective being to color the other team with their team’s special powder paint color.
