For the first time ever in Gan Yisroel history, the oldest division was awarded with a special trip to Bounce Inc! Attempting different acrobatic jumps, slam dunks and other tricks, the campers had a great time utilizing the multiple jumping trampoline options. Additionally due to a last minute change, the trampoline to camper ratio was maximized allowing a larger than usual amount of jumping to take place.

Staff Steak Specatular!
For their continous devotion and dedication to CGI, On Monday night the staff enjoyed a mouth watering steak night. The entire event was initiated and made possible by a very kind and generous anonymous individual who wanted to provide a small token of appreciation and gratitiude for all the hard work and efforts of this year’s group of staff.

The first day of BMD’s Washington Grand Trip was action packed to say the least. The bochurim visiting the Bureau of Engraving & Printing, Washington Monument, Toured the Capitol Building, National Air & Space Museum and went Laser Shooting. Towards the evening the bochurim traveled to Chabad of Fairfax Virginia where they enjoyed a delicious BBQ before stayed the night.
The second day featured a trip to the Marine Museum, Pizza Lunch, The Holocaust Museum and a Picture in front of the White house.
NB: Not all of locations that were visited allowed pictures to be taken.

In yet another Gan Yisroel first, CGI enjoyed a spectacular Benny Friedman Concert this past Sunday. Accompanied by the one and only Choni Milecki, the Campers and Staff had a great time dancing, singing and rejoicing throughout the night. From age old camp songs, Benny Friedman originals and classic Chabad niggunim the concert was nothing short of a smashing success. A special thank you goes to HC Motti Harlig for spearheading the initiative who together with Director Yossi Futerfas and several anonymous sponsors enabled the event to take place.
