CGI is climbing higher literally.. The 5th grade division started their day off with a grand pizza lunch and the left to their final destination- Gravity Vault Indoor Rock Gyms. With countless climbing walls, bouldering, and much more. The campers had a time of their life.
The 6th grade division just had the greatest trip to BOUNCE! With tons of trampolines, dodge ball courts, and extreme courses what could be better. The campers had a great time and to top it off they had the greatest pizza dinner ever!
Sunday morning every camper walked to learning class with one thing on their mind, their upcoming trip to the Rebbe, later that day. In learning class they wrote their pan, each camper writing his personal thoughts to the rebbe. Outside the ohel camp held a rally, followed by each camper spending a few moments with the rebbe. The entire day was filled with ruchnius for staff and campers alike, starting off a summer which will change them for the better.
The room was quiet as Learning directors- Zalman Denburg, and Mendel Gorodon-walked across the room. All eyes were glued to them, they began by explaining the special importance that the Rebbe attached to learning in Gan Yisroel. They continued on to explain the rules relevant to learning class and split the campers into learning classes. The campers met their classmates and went off to learn with their learning teacher. .his past night the campers of Gan Yisroel were given a special opportunity to see the world famous ventriloquist Jonathon Geffner perform live for them. Within minutes Jonathon had the entire room laughing at his hilarious routuine. Jonathon truly gave the campers and staff a night to remember.
