“3-2-1 BOG War!!!” This summer’s theme for BOG War was Moshiach. We had 3 teams with each name corresponding to another way of greeting Melech HaMoshiach: Team Lilmoid – Red, Team Lichyois – Green & Team Lichakois – Blue. Today we split up team’s & had scavenger skits while the justice’s marked down points. We davened & afterwards we headed to our bunkhouses for the night.

Wow what a jam packed day! We started our day early with Cocoa Club and MBP in the morning. Then after activities we went to learn our team songs. Together we went to the dinning room to sing our team’s song for the judges. After supper we headed to shul to watch the amazing plays that were put together.

Today CGI went to Bounce & High Exposure! Wow! Everyone had so much fun letting out their energy bouncing & climbing. We dodged by the dodgeball games & we competed at the arcade. After having so much fun we headed to Liberty Pizza to enjoy a delicious supper.

This week in CGI we had 2 amazing shows. First, we had an awesome Talent Show where campers and staff showed off their many talents and skills. For example, juggling, beatboxing, rapping, Rubik’s Cube speed running and more. The staff even made choir, where they sang and danced in unison. Then we had a grand Contortionist Show by Jared Rydelek.

This week at CGI we had a bunch of awesome late-night events for all the different Grades. From ice cream & brownies, to grilled meat subs. There were sodas & fancy drinks to go around, plus many other delicious snacks to enjoy as well. There were raffles on prizes and music in the air. What a great way to end off a great week!

“Cleanup, Cleanup, Everybody Do Your Share, Cleanup, Cleanup, Get Ready Because Visiting Day is Here!” This morning we woke up bright and early davened & started cleaning up. We all made sure to look our best in order to impress our parents. 11 AM hit & parents came rushing in, campers & their siblings were having fun all around. Canteen was going wild with milchige dishes in the AM & fleishige dishes off the grill in the PM. Some families stayed to have fun on the grounds, while others went to nearby bungalow colonies or towns to spend their day. At the end of the day parents said goodbye to their sons & the campers sat down for supper. After that we enjoyed some night activity & headed off to bed. We have a very big week prepared for us, so make sure to be on the lookout for new posts.
