A casual driver taking scenic Old Route 17 this past Sunday would probably have been surprised at the
number of cars and minivans parked outside the front gate of camp. It was visiting Day in Camp Gan
Yisroel and parents, siblings, and other relatives visited campers.

They watched a grand Klooger game show in the Shul, enjoyed delicious goodies from canteen, met with
counselors, learning teachers, waiters, and other staff, and toured the grounds. Merchandise was
available, including the Camp video (pre-order) and baseball caps with this year’s special Shnas
Hashishim logo.
Families gathered to pose for pictures in front of the CGI background, and the beautiful weather was
enjoyed by all.
