Eli Marcus Concert!

The room is dark. Everyone is whispering. Suddenly the room fills with smoke and Fitche Benshimon raises the bass. Colorful lights flash and twist around the room, and the famous Eli Marcus steps on to stage upon the cheering of hundreds of campers! Yup. It was dance night. Not only was it dance night, it was the most exciting show in Gan Yisroel history! After a good hour of nonstop dancing, everyone settled down for a beautiful Kumzitz led by Eli Marcus himself, of all the classic camp songs and Nigunim. What a memorable night!

Cuz Sixth Grade Just Rocks The House!

Sixth grade had a smashing trip that happened be pretty wet as well! The busses took off to the Delaware river were they ate a quick lunch and hurried on to rafts for an amazing rafting experience! It was very impressive that each camper made it to the end of the five mile long ride! After taking over the Delaware, Sixth grade headed to Shoprite for an awesome shopping trip and then took a quick ride to the Pizza shop to complete another fantastic day!

Chof Av Trip!

The dining room was packed yet the room was silent. Over 300 campers sat all together with one mindset- To connect to the Rebbe on their own level. With pens in their hands they wrote their wishes and dreams in honor of the special day of Chof Av. On the bus, Rebbe videos were played with was a great Hachona for the Ohel. Upon arriving, The campers went into one of the tents were we recited the 12 Psukim, and sang Nigunim and Camp songs. It was so amazing to be in the radius of the Rebbe and have all of his children go Gan Yisroel sing simultaneously. After going into the Ohel the busses headed straight for 770 were we Davened Mincha and sang some more. It was such a beautiful trip and it is fair to say that the Rebbe was looking down at his children smiling.

Bivouac!

Bivo-Bivo-Bivouac- Tonight!

Yep that’s exactly what happened in CGI! But first we had an unbelievable bowling trip and ended with a delicious snack of fresh donuts! Then, we took off with our sleeping bags and tents to head out to Happy Days Camp Grounds a quick 25 min away. After arriving, the campers scattered to look for firewood, and sticks to roast marshmallows with. After a delicious BBQ of hotdogs and hamburgers, the bonfire was lit (we are sure it was one of the biggest ones in CGI history) and the campers gathered around for an inspiring and beautiful Kumzitz of camp songs. The feeling was amazing as each and every campers voices joined together into the wee hours of the night. After a quick sleep and a delicious breakfast everyone headed back to camp for another regular smashing day in Gan Yisroel!

Bivo-Bivo-Bivouac- Last night!
